Landmark Home Design ("we," "us," "our") provides stock and semi-custom building plan sets for informational and planning purposes. By purchasing and/or using any plan set, Buyer acknowledges and agrees that construction of any structure carries inherent risks, and Buyer voluntarily assumes all such risks.
Plans are designed as general templates and are not certified for any specific site, soil condition, climate zone, wind or snow load, seismic requirement, or local jurisdiction unless expressly stated on the product page. Landmark Home Design makes no warranty, express or implied, that any plan is suitable for Buyer's specific property or intended use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyer releases and holds harmless Landmark Home Design, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliated companies (including CM Construction) from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including but not limited to structural failure, construction defects, code violations, permit denial, injury, or property damage — arising out of or related to the purchase, modification, or construction of a plan sold by Landmark Home Design
Buyer is strongly encouraged to have any purchased plan reviewed, and where required by local authorities, stamped or sealed by a licensed engineer or architect prior to construction. Buyer should consult a licensed contractor, engineer, or local building official with any questions about site-specific suitability before beginning construction.
Buyer is solely responsible for confirming that the plan, as built or as modified, complies with all applicable local building codes, zoning ordinances, permit requirements, and inspection processes. See the Building Code acknowledgment presented at checkout.
By checking the acceptance box during checkout, Buyer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this Liability Release in full.
